  8.    This DEMO program will allow you to run LOGPlus! and enter
  9.    up to 50 QSOs.  To LOG into LOGPlus! you must use
  10.  
  11.                            LOG DEMO
  12.  
  13.    Create a directory called \PLUSV3 and a sub-directory called
  14.    \PLUSV3\NOTES
  15.    Copy V3DEMO.EXE and V3DEMO_1.EXE into the \PLUSV3 directory
  16.    At the DOS prompt type V3DEMO
  17.    At the DOS prompt type V3DEMO_1
  18.    Enter the program by typing LOG DEMO

  23.    Once you've completed the installation, please print and read 
  24.    the documentation before attempt to run LOGPlus!.  Even though 
  25.    the program will run, it may have difficulties because 
  26.    modifications to your CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files are 
  27.    required.  The documentation will explain this as well as give 
  28.    you a wealth of information on what LOGPlus! can do.

  39.    Running LOGPlus! under Windows v3.1
  40.    ===================================

  42.    LOGPlus! v3 can be run in a DOS shell under Windows v3.1.
  43.    To create the ICONS and establish the necessary file structures,
  44.    the following step by step instructions are provided.
  45.    The files LOGPLUS.PIF and LOGPLUS.ICO MUST be installed in the
  46.    \PLUSV3 directory of your hard drive.  I've used hard drive C:;
  47.    however, you can can use anyone you wish.

  49.    Using the PIF Editor
  50.    Enter the following information.  Advanced features do not change.

  52.    Program Filename:      C:\PLUSV3\LOG.EXE
  53.    Window Title:          LOGPlus! v3
  54.    Optional Parameters:   ENTER YOUR CALLSIGN HERE!!
  55.    Start-Up Directory:    C:\PLUSV3

  57.    Video Memory:          TEXT
  58.    Memory Requirements:   KB Required  128    KB Desired   640
  59.    Dispaly Usage:         Full Screen

  62.    Using the Program Manager - Properties

  64.    We need to establish an ICON and tell Windows what to do.
  65.    Using the Program Manager, select File (ALT-F) then select
  66.    Properties (ALT-ENTER).  Next do the following:

  68.    Description:           LOGPlus! v3
  69.    Command Line:          C:\PLUSV3\LOGPLUS.PIF
  70.    Working Directory:     C:\PLUSV3

  72.    Next, select Change Icon and make the following changes.

  74.    File Name:             C:\PLUSV3\LOGPLUS.ICO

  76.    Save your changes/additions.
